The pound to US dollar exchange rate has fallen this morning, leaving the pairing trading around $1.246. The GBP/USD exchange rate slipped over 0.4 percent despite positive UK employment data. On Tuesday, the Office for National Statistics revealed that unemployment in the UK remained steady at 3.8 percent in the three months to May, the lowest rate since the final quarter of 1974.
